The RoboMonkeys robtics team represented Florida at the 2007 FIRST Lego League Nano Quest World Festival Robotics Competition.
Hi my name is Vinny and this is my first year as a Robomonkey. I helped this team before this year but now it is official! I build attachments and offer my opinion about how to go about the missions and their program. I go to karate with my brother Anthony, play soccer, and play my piano. When I get a job I want to be a Numnistic and study coins. Robotics has helped me in school
My name is Anthony Pipitone I am a five year veteran of the robomonkeys.
My job on the team is building, teaching my friends how to program, and finding the research needed for our project and help writing the skit. I like to read so this helps me for the dramatic parts. The first Lego league has been a very rewarding opportunity for me. Some of the other things in my life are karate, soccer and playing my guitar. When I get older I would like to be involved in the medical science field and participate in finding cures for diseases like cancer and diabetes. Robotics gives me a joy for learning. It has also helped me with my ability to find and display information with my team. I appreciate being around my teammates. It is fun when we are together.
My name matthew truong. This is my second year with the robomonkeys. It is way more fun than last year. I am 10 years old. I go to unity middle School. My Favorite subjects are science and reading.
My specialty on the team is builder and
Design Engineer. Some of my hobbies include soccer, piano, playing on the computer and playing the trumpet. When I get older I would like to be an engineer. Robotics has given me the opportunity to learn programming and how to look at solving problems with science and technology. I feel really lucky to have these guys as teammates, they work hard and we always seem to have a good time, and sometimes it just gets crazy.
